
The edifice of our Stadthotel was first mentioned in records in 1635.
Almost 100 years before the edifice became the property of family Voigt, the community of heirs Ferstls Erben laid the gastronomical base for the real estate on the Lange Zeile. The new owners Karl and Christine Voigt decided to keep the long tradition and so the guesthouse was named Ferstl-Bräu.
Mr. Karl Vogt assumed the hotel in 1958. In this year the first guest rooms were arranged and with it the new gastronomic conception of the hotel. In the course of large redevelopments in 1995 and 1996 the Ferstl-Bräu was re-named in Stadthotel Erding.
2006 Mr. De Matteis became the restaurant leader. Right from the start southern flair and a Mediterranean cuisine enchants the guests.
Only two years later Mr. De Matteis became director of the hotel. With great love for details he created an even more comfortable flair in his hotel.
Tradition and history define the familiar atmosphere of the Stadthotel Erding till today.
